US Websites Offer Free US Products to Package Forwarding Shoppers

You probably already know that the most popular brands and consumer goods are cheaper in the US than in other countries–that’s why you use a package forwarding account to get international shipping from any US store. But did you know that you can get many products from the US absolutely free? Read on to learn more about how to get free US products.

get free us productsThere are a number of websites that offer free samples of US products that you can receive simply by asking for them. The products offered range from cosmetics and health products to snack foods and household items.

Why You Need a US Package Forwarding Address

Not only are the products free, in most cases, so is the shipping. However, most companies that offer free products will only ship them within the US.

If you want to take advantage of these free offers from outside the US, you’ll need a package forwarding address. You can use your US package forwarding address to request the free US products you’re interested in, then have them shipped to you in your country by OPAS. (If you don’t already have one, you can sign up for a package forwarding account here.)

Free US Products

Well, you don’t want to pay international shipping fees for a free product, do you? Luckily, you don’t have to.

Since most of the free US products available are sample-sized and very light, there’s a good chance that you can get free international shipping for that item if you consolidate it with other items you plan on shipping. Your freebies are probably too light to change the weight or dimensions of a standard package, so just tuck them into a package you’re already planning to ship, and they will essentially get a free ride to their destination.

Websites that Offer Free US Products

There are a ton of sites out there that list free US product offers, but some are more useful than others. Here are some of the better ones:

    • Yes! OPAS uses UPS, FedEx and DHL with to-door delivery. For some individuals who live in remote areas, these regulations may vary or additional charges may apply, but we can definitely ship to you!

  1. So how can you get products to be shipped outside of theUS?? Can you do this only if you have already bought an item?? Can hey be shipped to Greece??

    • Hello! Yes we do ship to Greece. To get items, first sign up with our service at opas.com. Then you will be given a US shipping address. When you make an order online, use your OPAS US address as your shipping address. We will prepare your orders and ship them to you in Greece. I hope that helps!

    • I’m afraid that our international shipping services are not free, as this does form the primary revenue we realize as a company. We charge international shipping (which includes our service fees for receiving, storage and processing) based on the size and weight of the final shipment. Our shipping calculator is available here: https://my.opas.com/shipping_calculator.php

One aspect of shipping with OPAS that IS free is the freedom from US State Sales Tax. This tax runs between 7%-10% usually, and is often applied to online purchases made in states other than Oregon, which is where OPAS’ facility is located. Because Oregon is a 0% sales tax state, you will never pay this 7%-10% tax on any purchases made with an OPAS address in the US.

    • Yes, we do ship to Malaysia. If you sign up for an OPAS account at http://www.opas.com, you’ll be able to begin shopping in the US and receiving the kind of free sample products described here along with your orders.

  2. Perhaps my question does not apply to what you do, but I will try anyway…

If a company in the USA wants to send me, in Europe, a free sample of their product, is it true that I wouldn’t have to pay import tax over the shipment? Would it be somehow favorable for him as well? Tnks.

    • Commercial sample imports are usually not taxed upon entry to the EU. There are certainly some provisions and exceptions, but I’d recommend contacting a local customs expert to confirm this.

    • We do ship to the Philippines, yes. We do not provide FREE shipping to the Philippines, but we’d be very interested in having you join OPAS as a member.
